Yellow Corn (Maize):
Yellow Maize corn is one of the major cereal grain after wheat and rice as it provides nutrition for both humans and animals and also used for the production of starch, oil, protein and food sweeteners. Coming out of Pakistan’s yield. Its demand has increased all over the world in recent days due to increase in consumption of meat as Maize Corn is also used to feed poultry animals for healthier growth.
Green Millet:
In year 2014 alone, Pakistan produced nearly 10 million tons of Pearl Millets. Green Millet is from the oldest foods from the family of millets very well known to humans and possibly the first cereal grain to be used for domestic purposes. Green Millet is highly nutritious, non-glutinous and is easy to digest. It is considered the least allergenic and easily digestible grain in the world. It also helps to heat the body in cold or rainy seasons and climates. This quality agriculture product is known for high nutritional value, zero stickiness after cooking and good flavor.
Sesame Seeds:
Sesame seeds are one of the most popular seeds in the world. Owing to its high-quality oil besides high content of protein (22.0%) it is described as the queen of oil crops. In Pakistan, it grows in about 65 districts as irrigated as well as a rain crop. It grows in the provinces of Punjab, Sindh, NWFP, and Baluchistan. The cultivation season of sesame is SUMMER and WINTER, the best sowing time is 15th June to 15 July. The seed rate for cultivation of Sesame is 1.5-2 kg/acre. Its oil content ranges from 50-58%. it contains approximately 47 percent oleic acid and 39 percent linoleic acid.
